The Rotary Club of Greece proudly joined community leaders, partners, and supporters for the ribbon-cutting ceremony of a new sensory garden designed to provide a welcoming and engaging outdoor space for individuals of all abilities.

The celebration brought together District Governor Lisa Norwood, fellow Greece Rotarians, representatives from Al Sigl, members of Starbridge and Empowering People's Independence communities, and the dedicated team from Van Putte Gardens, whose expertise helped bring the vision to life.

The sensory garden was created to offer a peaceful, interactive environment where visitors can experience nature through sight, sound, touch, and scent. Designed with accessibility and inclusion in mind, the garden will serve as a valuable resource for individuals and families throughout the community.

The Rotary Club of Greece was honored to provide funding for the project, helping transform an idea into a lasting community asset. The club's commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance quality of life aligns with Rotary's mission of service above self and creating positive change in local communities.

A special thank you goes to Van Putte Gardens for generously donating their time, talent, and expertise to design and develop this beautiful space. Their dedication and partnership were instrumental in making the project a reality.

During the ceremony, Club President Chuck had the honor of officially cutting the ribbon and recognizing Van Putte Gardens for their outstanding contribution. His remarks highlighted the power of collaboration and the impact that can be achieved when organizations come together in service of the community.

The Rotary Club of Greece extends its sincere appreciation to all the organizations, volunteers, and community members who helped make this project possible. Together, we are creating more inclusive spaces and strengthening the connections that make our community thrive.

Service Above Self in action, one partnership at a time.
