Seeing our impact firsthand!
Members had the opportunity to visit the new sensory garden at Al Sigl Community of Agencies — a project made possible through the support of the Greece Rotary Club.
Sensory gardens are special because they invite people to experience nature in many different ways; through color, texture, scent, sound and movement. They can provide opportunities for exploration, learning, connection and moments of calm, while creating an outdoor space that can be enjoyed by people of all abilities.
Standing in the garden today and seeing the finished space was a wonderful reminder of what community partnership can accomplish. What began as an idea and an opportunity to serve has become a beautiful, meaningful space for the people who use Al Sigl’s campus.
We are proud to have played a part in bringing this garden to life and grateful to Al Sigl for the opportunity to support a project centered on inclusion, accessibility and creating experiences for people of all abilities.
