Gene Noga 2024-25 Rotarian of the Year
Gene Noga has been a dedicated member of the Greece Rotary Club since 2001 and is a distinguished Paul Harris Fellow +7. Since 2013, he has faithfully chaired our annual charity golf tournament, ensuring its continued success and impact. Gene served as a board member from 2012 to 2015 and again from 2024 through 2026. He has twice taken on the role of Sergeant-at-Arms and is always quick to step in whenever needed.
A true champion of the Challenger Little League, Gene has been instrumental in keeping our club actively engaged with the program. Through his efforts, thousands of dollars have been raised and donated, and he has also worked tirelessly to secure state funding to support the league’s ongoing needs.

Greece Rotary Celebrates Leadership and New Beginnings
As the Greece Rotary Club marks the close of another impactful Rotary year, we pause to honor the exceptional leadership of our outgoing President, John Bansbach. Throughout his tenure, John has exemplified Rotary’s motto of Service Above Self—leading with vision, dedication, and heart. His ability to bring people together, foster meaningful projects, and strengthen our community connections has left an indelible mark. Under his guidance, the club has not only grown in service, but in spirit.
As we bid John a fond and grateful farewell from his presidential role, we enthusiastically welcome two outstanding new members: Amber Wilk and Matthew Reed. Amber, with her deep-rooted passion for community engagement, brings a fresh spark of energy and creative perspective. Matthew, adds strength to our service initiatives, and is already proving to be a valuable asset to our mission.
With our legacy of service upheld by leaders like John and the promise of a bright future through members like Amber and Matthew, the Greece Rotary Club continues its proud tradition of making a difference—together.
Here’s to new chapters, continued service, and the community we’re building one act at a time.
