Cyndi Hunt speaking in reference to the Rotary Interact Clubs. Greece Rotary Club was granted a  Rotary Interact Charter in  9/06 under the leadership of Rick Volgelzang, as announced

by Diane Berdercurti, our clubs vocational chairperson.  Since the charter is for a community based chapter of Interact, Rick Antelli and Steve Achramovitch invited to podium to accept the certificate to the town of Greece and the Greece School District.

Cyndi Hunt discussed Rotary Interact initiatives to expand the work of Rotary by partnering with high school students who want to be involved in community service projects and international projects suitable to Rotary.   There are 43 interact clubs in this district.  Rotary also supports and teaches ethical behavior.   A few projects mentioned are Safe Journey which assist battered women, Ronald Mac Donald house, STAR assisting seniors with chores, Food Link, and Focus a Nation which brings about awareness of the global warming issues.
