Announcements:

·         Judy VanBramer announced that the Britton Road Wegmans will be holding a food drive this Saturday.  Also, at next week’s Rotary meeting the Food Shelf will be present collecting food donations.  If you donate 3 items you will receive certificate for $2 off a future fine.

·         Judy also announced she has Entertainment Books ($25) and Rochester ($20) for sale.

·         Rich Vogelzang indicated that we are 13 weeks from the annual Ziti Dinner (1-27-08).  The minimum expectation of every club member is $250 in ticket/ad sales.  Overall goal is $45,000 in gross sales.  Placemats are $200/ad and include ten tickets.  Tickets are in and available to sell!

·         Upcoming events:

}       Rotary Foundation Brunch is on Nov. 11^th @ noon.  It is being held at Belhurst Castle in Geneva.

}       November 3 - Rotary Leadership Institute at the Inn on the Lake (Canandaigua) … two plan to attend.

}       November 11 - 2^nd Annual District Foundation Brunch at Belhurst Castle (Geneva)

}       December 7 - Annual Christmas Party at the Marriott

}       December 12 - BOCES II Christmas Party at Ridgemont Country Club

}       January 27 - Annual Ziti Dinner

Today’s Guest Speaker:

            Today’s guest speaker was Alicia Van Borssum she did a presentation on Ethiopia Reads.  She shared her trip to Ethiopia with us through a very informative slide show and even a few props.  Greece Rotary had made a donation to this cause and it was nice to see how the money was used.
