Today’s program and Speakers: Our own Larry Waye of the First Bible Baptist Church spoke on the contributions of the church’s recreation area to the Greece community in general and the business community in particular. The program, with Joshua’s Paintball Jungle at it’s core, has been used in leadership development programs within Kodak, Xerox, and other area corporations. Additionally the church has hosted community events such as the 4th of July celebration, the annual Christmas play, the November Meet the Candidates night, and other programs. The recreation area was built at an expense of 1.8 million dollars with much of the money and labor being donated by area citizens and business’. Donations to the program are tax exempt and all donations are used in the recreation program with none of the funds going to the church budget or salaries.
