Announcements

Board Meeting for this month has been changed both the date and location.  The meeting will be held on Monday June 24th @ Dan Barletta’s house.

 

Installation Dinner

Friday June 14th was this year’s installation dinner of our new president Bill Testa.  President Del thanked Dave Kotesky for all his efforts to make this a successful dinner.

 

Wednesday July 24th  There will be no meeting at 12:15 pm.  The meeting will be held at Camp Haccamo beginning at 5 pm.  Dinner will be served about 6 pm.  This will allow the club to spend some time at the camp.   A map to the camp will be posted on the web site.

 

LPGA

Anyone working on the Monday night cleanup detail, it is recommended that you bring gloves to this shift.

 

Brad Shea gave a brief breakdown of how the camps receive their funds.  The Sunshine Camp is a beneficiary of the Rochester Rotary Club.  The others club involved with the LPGA benefit Camp Haccamo.

 

Mike Sofia gave an update on the 13th Annual Youth Board’s “Tee Off For Youth Golf Tournament” which will be hosted by Jeff Sluman and Dudley Hart at Lakeshore Country club. For further information contact Mike at 225-3737 or msofia4497@aol.com

 

Correspondence received by President Del:

The Interact club thanked the club for its support and for the trip to Niagara Falls for many of the Interact club members.

 

SUNY @ Brockport thanked the club for the support through the Margaret Hare Dinner.

 

Monroe County Special Olympics thanked the club for it’s $500.00 contribution

 

Camp Haccamo sent a card of thanks for the $4000.00 donated by the club this year.

 

Greece Rotary Putting Team of Bill Testa, Del Smith and Becky Iverson tied for 1st place this year.  Bill was the best golfer of the team.  He got two holes in ones.

 

Fining:

  • Elaine Gorman to see parents and missed a meeting.  President Del fined for missing her birthday announcement.

  • Bill Testa fined $28.00 for catching 28 fish with Dave Nagel. In the Niagara River.

  • Dave Nagel was fined for losing Bill’s $75.00 knife.

  • Carla Vossler took trip to Phoenix to see family

  • Dave Nagel fined Joe Darweesh and Rino Pappano for talking during the induction ceremony today

  • Tom was fined by past president and finemaster Mike Sofia for his abilities at Skeet Shooting.
