Today’s Guest Speakers:

Sandy McLellen, Area 9 Asst. governor introduced our program speaker today. District 7120 Governor, John Hall

He discussed this year’s theme, “Rotary Shares” concept, He spoke about why we need to enhance membership by having great Rotary programs, participate in the goals of Rotary Foundation, and give back to our communities.  Share the Rotary membership with others.

He is leaving a large jar (donated by Wegman’s) for our club to use each week for loose change.  RI will match half of what is earned by the District.  He briefly discussed the District Conference  in April 2008, which will allow time for a matinee at the Shaw Festival, a ride on the Maid of Mist, perhaps a wine tour, and other sightseeing.

He left us with this thought to ponder. “What is your defining moment when you became a Rotarian, not just a member of Rotary?
