Announcements:

Only three weeks until Ziti Dinner.  Feb 2nd at the Diplomat.  Some of the promotional posters/letters have had incorrect information.  These have been corrected and are available from Tom Shay and Dianne Berardicurti.  January 24th is the deadline for submitting ads to Dianne for the program.  Work detail assignment sheets will be available at the next meeting.  Members are reminded that there is a $100 fine to members not participating.  Ticket sales are lagging behind last years numbers.  Get monies to Gary Krause.  Get more tickets for selling from Tom Shay.

Chuck Krause reported that the Mall LPGA ticket sales were a success.  Sales were $29,000, a bit down from last year.  The top sales shift was by Greece Rotarians Joe Darweesh, Paul Chatfield, and Steve Robbins with $1630 in sales.

Dave Nagel gave a report on our membership status.  We currently stand at 99 active members.  Our goal is for 110.  Will Gallagher, the new YMCA director, has already been recruited.  Members are encouraged to bring potential members as guests.

Brad Shea has an opening for a club speaker on February 12.  Any suggestions for a speaker are welcome. (Note: See Below today’s program)

January 15th – Monroe County Economic Development,

March 12th meeting is at the RTS Bus facility

Del Smith reported that the board is near completion on incorporating the Greece Rotary Charitable Trust.  This will establish us as a tax exempt organization and better enable the club to meet it’s immediate and long term goals for community and international service.
