Today’s program and Speakers:

Assemblyman Joe Robach was our guest speaker this afternoon.  He talked about the state of New York especially since Sept 11th.

He stated the state will be affected financially

for about 15 months by Sept 11th.

The WTC produced about 47 billion of NYS economy.  5 billion came to the state in sales tax receipts alone.

The WTC was worst than Pearl Harbor because of the huge economic impact and that it was an attack on regular citizen instead of the armed forces.

One good affect of the WTC attack has been that Albany has been less partisan.  Maybe the budget will be passed on time!!!

50/50 – Colleen Meger
