·        Rich V. gave a ziti update.  We are 1.5 weeks to our 31st Annual Ziti Dinner.  Ralph Annucci reported that we are preparing to serve 2000 dinners.  Last year we served over 2500 dinners.  The club has 100 lbs of pasta donated by Perillo’s in Avon, 500 lbs donated by Wegman’s.  Wegman’s also donating the sauce, and 225 loaves of bread.  Dinner includes four meatballs per person.  We’ll have 400lbs of salad.  Fifty cases of soda donated by Greg Weisner.  Coffee will be available.  Keith volunteered to pick up the soda.  Don volunteered to pick up the pasta from Avon.  Len Hawley will provide the musical entertainment.  Kitchen help is asked to be there by 8 am.  A large crew is needed to help bring in the food & beverage items. Kitchen helpers must wear gloves, a hat, and apron.  Bring in your Rotary apron if you have one.  All Rotarians are asked to wear a white top/shirt, and dark bottoms/slacks.  A hat is optional for the dining room crew.  Four buffet lines will be open.  Paper products and utensils will be will be in two areas for self serve for people to take what they need.  That way items are not wasted.  Each Rotarian is asked to donate baked goods.  All baked goods must  be purchased, and not home made.   Carrot cake, cheese cake, and sliced pies were the favorites last year.  Frosted cookies next.  Joe Darweesh is taking baklava orders.  Need kids to help us sell 50/50 raffle tickets.   Liz reminded us that we need plastic bags for take out orders. Mike Sofia and Mike Perotta have leftover sauce and paper products from the prior year.   The wine is (or will be) ready in time.  The minimum donation will be $6 to cover our cost.  Frank Vella will be making the sauce.  The only people that should be in the kitchen are the kitchen helpers.  Breakfast is 8-9:30.  All club members are reminded to sell ads and  tickets.  As a member, you are responsible for $250 in sales. Ralph Annucci is the kitchen point person, and Carol Tegas is the point person for the dining room.  Members should confirm their dining room assignment for yourself and your spouse it they are listed.

·        The minimum expectation of every club member is $250 in ticket/ad sales.  Overall goal is $45,000 in gross sales.  Placemats are $200/ad and includes ten tickets.
