Greece Rotary will have on the road meetings in February.  Some sites are Greece Town Hall, Strong Museum, St Joseph's Villa, Westside YMCA.  Details to follow.  Sign-up sheets will be at the next meeting.

Today’s speaker :

Laura Teller with the Finger Lakes Health Systems.  She shared uninsured population health issues and possible solutions.  Discussed formation of a partnership on the issue with state, county and local organizations.  Myths vs. facts were discussed.  A PowerPoint presentation was presented.  Deborah Whitt has it if anyone wants to review it.

More Announcements:

The December BOCES Kids Christmas Party was a success.  Greece Rotary members were reminded to pay for their lunch.  The children and faculty sent beautiful handmade posters, thank you notes, and cards that Tom Lawson shared thanking all of you for your support and your cheerful attitudes. Approximately 170 gift bags were prepared, 154 children attended, 350 may have attended counting adults.  Tom suggest we from a committee to make help manage attendance, provide a safer egress, and enhance the experience for the children.  Kathy Vaughn is the liaison for BOCES.  Reserved date for next time is Dec 12, 2007.   

Liz noticed obituary and mentioned Tom Lockwood's mother passed away.

Sue mentioned business person of the year, senior award, and curb appeal nominations are being requested. 

50/50 - $750 in, Brad Turner pulled the 7 of hearts received $10.

Ralph reported on Ziti Dinner.  this is the 30th Anniversary. Success has come from 100% club participation, pasta and sauce donated by Wegman’s, ad book sales, ticket sales.  Ad sales deadline is this Friday.  OK to send ads electronically to Bill Testa. 

No fining today except birthday people were asked to pay for their happy events.
