State Senator Joe Robach’s office was contact by Judy Van Bramer regarding a $5,000 level of support for the Greece Little League Challenger Division. She also recommended better future internal communication between club funding initiatives. 4. Soap Box Derby Car – Mark Scuderi indicated that ads can be placed on the race car. Also a car driver is needed for this years racing. Soap Box Derby rules require the driver to disassemble and reassemble the car. Greece Rotary requires the driver come from St. Joseph’s Villa or Hillside. Larry Wills – Recommended the treasurer identify on one list the benefactors of the Greece Rotary funding contributions. This could assist the leadership team in assigning funding project activity to utilize and absorb any excess funds. There was some discussion regarding the present unallocated funds committee and the budget cycle that presently exists. Summary: There was interest in pursuing shirts and hats for all the teams participating in the Greece Little League Challenger Division. This would provide a source of funds relief and provide visibility within the community to assist our PR campaign. The budget cycle for the 2007-2008 club year begins in April 2007.
