·         Bill Gormont presented a $1500 check on behalf of the club to Amy Peritsky & Nicole Viggiano to be used for their Adult Literacy Program at the Greece Community Learning Center.

·         Rich Vogelzang reported that Ziti’s gross receipts are at $50,767 with still some outstanding commitments yet to be collected.  We far exceeded the $45,000 goal set for this year!

- March 5 at the D&C Printing Facility at Canal Ponds

Today’s Guest Speakers: A Powerpoint presentation was given by Amy Peritsky (Bridges & Community Education Director), Nicole Viggiano (Adult Literacy Coordinator) and Doug Van Dine (Bridges Coordinator).  The Greece Community Learning Center offers several Adult Literacy Programs in which there are 928 participants enrolled.  According to national statistics, 1/5 adults read at a 2nd grade level.  The presentation include the impact literacy has on employment, crime, health, families and the community.
