Committee ReportsMembership CommitteeMembership count as of December 17, 2007 is 98.Attendance Committee – Tracy WoodenReview of Attendance: Club attendance requirement is 20%, Tracy reported that the following members are below the minimum 20%: Tom Antinora, Frank Ardino, John Bansbach, Richard Baum, Dave Koteskey, Robert Roberts and Tom Sime. After some discussion, the board will ask Rino Pappano to contact members to try and get them back. If no response the board will reconsider members after Ziti.
Review of unpaid dues: 5 members past due. The members are: Steve Grimm, Jay Riley, Pam Beaney, Bill Testa and Dianne Berardicurti.
Steve Grimm sent email resigning from club a couple weeks ago. He has accepted a superintendent position in Ithaca New York effective January 2008. He has been asked to send payment of past due dues. Motion to accept resignation by Rich Vogelzang Seconded by Larry wills Motion passed.
Tracy asked board to allow her to send out letter to each member advising them of their attendance level. Ed D’Angelo will work with Tracy to merge letter with database. Also Tracy would like to recognize non board members who have large number of banked make-ups at Installation dinner.
Club Administration Committee - Brad Turner FellowshipBrian reported that club Christmas Party may come under budget. Final report at next meeting. Also there has been some discussion about future parties and possibly surveying club on opinion. New Committee of Joe Darweesh, and Brian Cacia will provide future report.
Service Projects – Brian CaciaCommunity Service Committee - Judie Van BramerFood Drive in November netted 19 boxes of food. We will be working with Wegman’s in future for more food drive.
BOCES Kids Xmas party – went very well.
President Dan received email from a teacher in GCSD asking for $125.00 for popcorn and movies tickets for group of students who attended BOCES party last year. Teacher was told that request was sent to Finance Subcommittee for recommendation since this was an unbudgeted expense. Finance subcommittee denied request.
The board discussed this and suggested that Judie and Tom possible meeting with GCSD about students who do not attend BOCES to see if there might be something in future to consider.

Public Relations – Liz RichardsonLiz Richardson has worked up draft of media release regarding donation of $5000.00 to St. Joesph Villa’s Eating Disorder Center. Rotary Foundation – Greece Rotary Foundation Challenge will be mentioned at upcoming meeting to remind members about this challenge. After last announcement 3 members contributed.
Old Business – Items not addressed above in officer and committee reports Ziti Update: Rich Vogelzang reviewed the several advertising opportunities for the Ziti Dinner · Revenue has topped $7,000.00 so far · Placemat’s ad’s; Sold out · A minimum of $250 is expected by each member for Ziti sales. They are encouraged to raise this amount in advertising or ticket sales.

Election of officers at Annual meeting. Past Presidnet Rich presented the official slate of candidates for the three board of director positions along with the nominee for the Vice President slot.

New Business: 1. March 5th meeting – President Dan brought forth request by Bill Gormont and himself to cancel meeting that week First because it is last meeting that the club is on road due to Ridgemont being closed. Second No program has been planned at this time for that day. Thirdly, the Area ( clubs are holding a Saturday night fellowship gala on March 8th and our club support is critical to the event. The event will be held at Rick’s Prime Rib house. Cost will be approximately $10-11.00 person. The evening will feature a night at the races. A tape of horse races will be used to allow betting on the individual races. Only winners of race will receive any money. No money for place or show positions in race. All proceeds will go to Camp Haccamo After some discussion, it was decided to still have weekly meeting but will urge support by members of Area 9 event. 2. Meeting at Artisan Works – Joe Darweesh presented to board a proposal to have one of our on the road meetings at Artisan Works. He requested that the meeting member cost for this one event be $12.00 instead of the usual $10.00 that we charge for our on the road meetings. The extra $2.00 will go to offset the facilities cost that the location will charge. The facilities cost is $300.00. any unfunded cost will come from our budgeted fellowship line item. Andy Gray made motion to raise weekly meeting cost to $12.00. Ed D’Angelo seconded. Motion passed with on Abstention – Larry Wills 3.Camp Haccamo Walk. President Dan brought to the board’s attention that Camp Haccamo is planning a fundraising walk next fall and although this will occur during Ed D’Angelo’s year the club along with the other clubs involved with the camp have been asked to contribute $100.00 each for seed money to get the event underway.
